What matters for this topic
Challenges cross classes, professions, PvP, dungeons, raids and exploration. Pick near-term challenges that align with your existing characters before chasing an inconvenient long-term completion target.
Separate account-wide achievements from the points a single character may currently spend. The current beta testing cap is not the same thing as the full long-term challenge pool.
Practical steps
Use the following short plan as a starting point, then adjust it for your character, group and the current test build. A good decision should be repeatable and easy to review when the next update changes the rules.
- Finish accessible class-level milestones during normal leveling.
- Combine professions with gathering and crafting plans.
- Record dungeon and raid completion prerequisites.
- Use the Challenges page to track remaining objectives.
What can go wrong?
Avoid treating a visible future perk as already unlocked. Challenge acquisition and character allocation are separate. After a patch, confirm information in the client instead of reusing a screenshot or price estimate from an earlier test.
Frequently asked question
Should I spend every available Legacy point immediately?
No. Reserve points when a later perk would be more useful and distinguish total account-earned progress from your character spending limit.
