WoW Forever Tools is designed around a cached source layer rather than hard-coded page content. Wowhead is the primary reference target for source references and future structured synchronization, while the frontend stays fast and usable even if an external source is temporarily unavailable.

Frequently asked questions

Is WoW Forever Tools connected to Wowhead?

The frontend already uses the Wowhead image CDN and uses local talent tooltips. Gameplay data is loaded from a local snapshot. Source changes are reviewed before publication; some pre-release values remain unverified.

Will talent builds be shareable?

Yes. Class, level and allocated talent ranks are encoded in the page URL. Copying the link restores the same build for another user.

Does the site include Skyborne?

Yes. The local dataset includes both Skyborne variants, and the race list is generated from data so future race changes do not require redesigning the page.

Where is challenge progress stored?

For the lightweight version, challenge completion and reward progress are stored locally in the browser. No account is required. Clearing site data removes your saved progress.

Why is there a local data snapshot?

A local snapshot protects the site from external outages and lets you review source changes before publishing them. Scheduled sync should update that snapshot safely.

Can Quadrat be used for the UI?

Yes, if you have an appropriate webfont license. The CSS already prefers Quadrat Grotesk New and falls back to Space Grotesk plus Manrope without shipping any commercial font files.
