The Legacy Reward Track is based on the total number of Legacy Points your account has earned. Blizzard has confirmed that players can continue earning points up to 65 at the start even though each individual character can spend only 16 points in Legacy Trees at launch.
Pre-release Wowhead references show four cosmetic or collection milestones at 15, 25, 40 and 55 Legacy Points. These rewards are based on pre-release references and still require verification.
| Legacy Points | Previously documented reward | Type / note |
|---|---|---|
| 15 LP | Replica Ironforge Air Rifle | Interactive novelty rifle reward; pre-release references point to Innkeeper Wiley in Ratchet for claiming it. |
| 25 LP | Spectral Bear Cub | Companion pet. |
| 40 LP | Spectral Bear Tabard | Cosmetic tabard. |
| 55 LP | Reins of the Spectral Bear | Epic 100% speed mount in the September reference data. |
Completing Legacy Challenges increases your account-wide earned total. Hitting reward thresholds unlocks the corresponding collection or cosmetic milestone. The reward track is separate from how you allocate perks on an individual character.
No. The 16-point launch limit is a spending cap for each character's Legacy build. Reward progression is tied to total Legacy Points earned on the account, so allocating points into Adventure, Resourcefulness or Professions does not reduce the earned total used for reward milestones.
