Fury Warrior begins to feel more complete by level 30 in Forever thanks to Berserker Stance, dual-wield talents and stronger Rage generation, but it still lacks parts of a full endgame rotation.
Beta scope: These are Forever-specific rules and examples available by October 16, 2026. Exact damage values and availability may change with later builds. This is not a Retail or Season of Discovery guide.
What changed in Forever
Berserker Stance changes combat priorities by increasing offensive potential while accepting additional incoming damage. Do not use it recklessly when enemies hit hard or your healer is overwhelmed. Test in a stable solo session and compare health remaining after each pull. A damage bonus that causes multiple extra deaths is not a leveling advantage.
Apply it during normal play
Dual Wield Specialization and Furious Precision support the two-weapon playstyle described in the beta guide. Weapon upgrades are especially meaningful because auto-attacks still contribute substantial damage. Choose an appropriate main-hand and off-hand rather than spending all gold on one weapon while the other is far behind.
Important restrictions and mistakes
Rage use is the key judgment. Overspending on Execute when the enemy is about to die can leave you without useful Rage for the next pull. The level-30 reference favors efficient use of debuffs and Overpower over spamming Heroic Strike or Cleave. Current Rage tuning has changed during beta, so old numeric guides should be treated cautiously.
Build or route testing
Fury can sometimes help tank an emergency add, but this is not permission to replace planned tanking responsibilities. Tell your group when you can hold an enemy briefly, and avoid opening with heavy burst before threat is stable. Record your Rage at the start and end of a sequence to discover waste.
Quick decision table
| Situation | Check or action |
|---|---|
| Berserker Stance | offense with risk |
| Dual wield | maintain both weapons |
| Rage | avoid useless overkill |
| Dungeon | support controlled pulls |
A reliable test procedure
- Confirm the client build, class level and current talent prerequisites.
- Use the same or similar enemies to compare one change without hidden gear differences.
- Include recovery and travel time instead of counting only burst damage.
- Document uncertain interactions and retest after Blizzard beta notes change them.
