How Basic Campfires and profession-made campsite features change group preparation. This guide uses Blizzard's published information available as of October 30, 2026. Where a launch-client detail has not been independently checked, we say so.
What Blizzard has confirmed
Blizzard's October 21 Camping article confirms that a Basic Campfire can host up to three contributed campsite objects. Players can contribute one feature each; sitting or working near the camp for a short period can provide benefits.
Why this matters for your character
Cooking starts the camp, while professions such as First Aid, Fishing, Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, Herbalism, Leatherworking, Skinning and Tailoring can contribute different features.
What to do before or during launch
Coordinate profession coverage with guildmates. Avoid spending materials on overlapping effects before confirming which class buffs are already in the group.
What is still uncertain?
Some effects are mutually exclusive with class buffs. Check the item level, recipe and actual tooltip before relying on a fixed benefit.
