WoW Forever Guild Launch Planning: Rulesets, Rosters and Raids

Organize a new Forever guild around its ruleset, dungeon schedule and December raid goals. This guide uses Blizzard's published information available as of October 30, 2026. Where a launch-client detail has not been independently checked, we say so.

What Blizzard has confirmed

Blizzard's ruleset system is organized around how communities want to play. Roleplay-PvP joins the launch options, while December 9 introduces 10-, 20- and 40-player raid opportunities.

Why this matters for your character

A strong guild plan defines expected time zones and ruleset, preferred factions, languages, event hours, voice requirements and whether group content is casual or organized.

What to do before or during launch

Post a concise recruitment message in LFG, establish a clear code of conduct and schedule weekly dungeon events to build relationships before the first raids.

What is still uncertain?

Recruitment posts should reflect real, contactable guilds. Do not rely on illustrative listings as evidence of available groups.

Useful tools and further reading

Plan your skills with the Talent Calculator, compare shared setups in Community Builds and coordinate with real players through the LFG directory.
