Blizzard describes Forever PvP progression as combining Honor with Rank Points. Honor comes from eligible PvP activities such as fighting players, battlegrounds and relevant quests.

The distinction matters for players planning their gearing and long-term progression. A battleground session is easier to evaluate when you separate immediate Honor earnings from broader ranking goals.
